Hair Flowers

I may or may not have added this picture that Maddy took of my hair. I love the fact that not only did she pick the flowers but put them in my hair and then took a picture of it.

There's something wonderful and all great about this picture. Perhaps it is because I was raised where daisy's were plentiful and very comfortable when my cousins and I would lie amonst them talking about what we would be when we grew up. Myself, I just wanted to be comfortable lying amongst the daisy forever.

This makes me want to go and declutter a drawer somewhere. Or, better yet be on the river bank, take off my flip flops and take a little hip hop to the other side for awhile. Life is good.

William is Eight

William turned 8 years old on May 14th. He is now at an age that hugs are plentiful for MeMaw but even an air kiss bring an ewwww from him. He is loveable, a little helper (loves to organize - he will come through my door announcing that my organizer is here!). He loves to talk about the different plants, the edible ones, and the invasive ones in my yard. He loves collecting rocks just like his Dad did at his age. He is beautiful and loves his MeMaw. Ed took pictures at his birthday (cake and ice cream). I'll post these soon.

Madelyn Is Six

Our little "sit up straight" little six year old. She is my doll baby. I love you so much Madelyn Brunson!

Madelyn had a good time taking out her candles and even shared a few with her brother. Madelyn loves her brother.

Madelyn loves for MeMaw to mess with her hair. These are little attachments that came with the Magical Horse - but Madelyn knew right away they were for her hair instead. So be it!

Madelyn always has time for a little pose for the camera. MeMaw was getting out more gifts for birthday girl. Clothes, clothes and more clothes.

Oh my Madelyn (who is now signing her name Maddy and will from time to time be called Rosie which is her other nickname). She tells me it is Maddy not Maddie. Madelyn is something else to be reckoned with. She is quite the snuggle bug. Madelyn will also come right out and tell you what she thinks of anything and it doesn't matter if you have or have not asked her for her opinion. She a tough one and has met her match with Papa. Thank goodness for communication skills, lots of patience and loads of love to bring out the best in this child.

Maddy is Now 6

Here's a few pictures taken this past Tuesday. Can hardly believe my "grandgirl" is now six years old. She and William had a combo party today but want to get Mad's pics up first and then will post the other ones.
