Pre-Halloween Pics 2011

Our expressive little girl - don't you know she lives drama class in her first grade...

The children had such a good time getting ready for Halloween 2011 - here are some pictures getting ready to walk the two blocks, carrying our flashlight, ready for "Trick or Treating." It took us 1 hour and 45 minutes (but who's counting besides MeMaw here) - to go only two blocks. Each time we visited a house with the lights on but no one answered - William would walk away saying - I guess they are more into Valentines Day than Halloween. Madelyn tried to give some of the neighbors a piece of her own candy - as we had a big talk before the walk - only one piece of candy per house - by the end of the walk - MeMaw was shining her flashlight in the bag saying - oh, I want that one - good thing they didn't listen about the one piece per house...

Mother is now 85

Bev shared a beautiful picture with me - so I thought I would share this with whomever reads my blog. So far I think only Bev, Jeannie and hopefully Tori views my blog to know I really try to keep it updated...

Here's to our beautiful Mother, Mom, and Maw Maw who turned 85 on November 6th. I'm glad you had a wonderful birthday Mother and that your church friends gave you so many nice birthday cards - PS. The necklace Mother is wearing is one of the gifts from her church friends...
