Memories with Cousin Bobbie

I was fortunate enough to catch up a little with Bobbie Lee, my first cousin and the only daughter of Aunt Jannie, Daddy's youngest sister.  You follow me yet?

Here is Bobbie, Carla (Bobbie's daughter), and Aunt Jannie which is Bobbie's Mother and Carla's grandmother.  I could practically write a best seller on stories of Aunt Jannie.  We love you all!

Here's another one Bobbie sent me - oh I love this:

Bobbie said this picture of her and her Mom when they lived in Gatestille, Texas right next door to a Rodeo.

I will be posting an oldie of Bobbie at age 3 month, held by her Dad, our Uncle Bob - more to come.

To be cont.

Replica of Grandma and Pawpaw's home whittled by Daddy

I received a text this morning from my first cousin Bobbie Lee remarking on a picture I posted (received from Larry Michael) who has the replica of Daddy's Mom and Pop's home whittled out of popsicle sticks.  Yes the Adkins kids and their kids always had a treat when the Ice Cream truck came around, not actually for the ice cream but Daddy had another part to make and needed more sticks.  Oh that Bill Adkins, he was an original thinker for sure!

Bobbie, have a good time with your walk, skipping down memory lane and Grandma and Pawpaw's house.  We were brought up with love at that house and my oh my how it affects even to this day.

Thank you Grandma and Pawpaw and Daddy for having such a vivid memory and skills to make it real once again.
